My Dilemma

I have ridiculously thin hair. Right now, for example, it is just shoulder-length and becomes stringy in a matter of hours after shampooing and blow-drying. The thing is, I want to grow my hair out and have nicer bangs in order to look this fabulous:
I'm at a loss for what I should do-- any tips or products I should try?

i don't really have any tips except patience. i have straight, fine, thin hair like you and i've just been letting mine keep growing and growing, actually, it probably looks like something like the pic above

I would love my hair to look like this girl in the picture...my hair isn't super thick either but I do think that if you grow it longer a good hair cut is key. Hair stylists are magic and can usually provide layers, etc that will make your hair look thicker.

love her hair... but I love long hair like that and bangs and it takes a lot of work to keep it looking like that.

to make fine hair look thicker, and more full, (with the added benefit of reducing stringiness) i really like this dry shampoo called pssst! i found it at a drug store for around five dollars, and used as needed to keep things fluffy and shiny. good luck!

I am right there with you... I have the straightest most flat hair ever, except mine is pretty long & I'm always trying to figure out what to do with it! :))

ooh, this is a tough one ...the more bangs you cut, the fuller it may look but it may thin out the rest of your hair that is long. I don't have any great tips ...:/

It appears all of your readers are thin haired gals... *smile* Myself included. I tried bangs - bad news bears for me!

Me too! Thin hair and I don't like to spend much time fixing it (like, none!) but I want it to look just like Charlotte Gainsborough too!!

I know it sounds counter-intuitive, but don't wash your hair every day. Try spraying in a dry shampoo on in-between days. It should give your hair a little more texture.
