I'm moving into a new apartment this fall and am really excited. One of the main problems, though, is the tiny galley-style kitchen. My roommate and I plan to paint the backsplash with chalkboard paint in order to add a little interest to the space.
I'd also love to have this rabbit dish rack. The kitchen lacks a dishwasher, so I'll have to buy a drying rack either way. It might as well be clever!Blackboard pictures found on We Heart It.

I have that table!! It's yellow and chrome, my boyfriend liberated it from the basement of an old apartment. I wasn't sure what on earth I would do with it until we stepped into what would be our new apartment and the kitchen was bright yellow. Now I have this happy yellow fifties kitchen that makes me smile every morning. Good luck, I hope you and your roomie have so much fun. I love making a new place home.
