This past Saturday I visited San Francisco for the first time ever. The city itself was amazing although the weather was pretty dreadful-- 50-some degrees and foggy. I'd been warned to expect such a climate but was still a little shocked by the chill in the air.
The weather was nothing compared to the fascinating rowhouses in the city. As much as I had anticipated the gorgeous architecture, I was still blown away by the zany use of color, intricate plasterwork, and the sheer individuality of each building.

i hear great things about living in san francisco but i don't know if could handle the weather! i like my summers hot!
Oh fleet week was so fun! I'm actually moving back to Boston at the end of the summer so I can finnish up my senior year and do that graduating thing I keep hearing about. After that I'm not really sure what my plans are, I suppose it all depends on if and where I get a job. My gentleman friend is pretty much in Boston for good since he owns a restaurant but I get the worst itchy feet, I never stay in one place too long. I would love to move back to NYC but who knows where the road will take me. I also often entertain the thought of moving back to London.
too cute! i love color!
I love these fun colorful houses. I would someday love to paint a house in funky colors. Thanks for sharing these and hope you had a good trip.
